Monday night (January 8, 2018) marked the year's first significant fire incident when Chicago firefighters tackled a blaze at a massive mattress warehouse located at 4041 South Emerald Avenue. The structure, measuring 150 feet by 800 feet, presented quite a challenge. Firefighters deployed elevated master streams from three tower ladders and Squad 1A to surround and combat the spreading flames.
I managed to capture some incredible footage of the operation, which you can see below. Unfortunately, the embedded videos aren't showing up properly here, but I'll make sure to upload them to my website soon for everyone to check out.
