At the meeting, Wei Jiacheng, the secretary-general of the Automobile Modification Professional Committee, explained the development process of the modification industry and clearly conveyed that the long-awaited industry standards for the automobile modification industry and modified vehicle owners will be gradually introduced, and relevant regulations are being formulated.
It is understood that in 2013, the National Automobile and Industrial Association Automobile and Motorcycle Association Automobile Reconstruction Professional Committee submitted the "Proposal on Formulating Regulations Related to Automobile Refit" to the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. From July to September of the same year, it successively received five ministries and commissions of the State (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Public Security, The replies of the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine have all agreed to support this work and hope to introduce management measures as soon as possible. Subsequently, the five ministries and the car modification professional committee held a joint meeting, marking the development of the conversion regulations into the actual operation stage.
According to reports, the "Car Value-added Product Catalogue" has been basically completed. 70% of the products delivered by the famous auto accessories and modified accessory brand manufacturers have passed the test and sent for inspection.
