Fire Water Supply Equipment with Water Tank

XBC series of diesel fire pump set is developed according to GB6245-2006 "Performance requirements and test methods for fire pumps" and NEPA20 "Centrifugal fire pump installation", meanwhile, according to market demands and utilization features, the electric fire pumps and electric power supply system cannot be used when fire accident happens in buildings, the diesel engine fire pumps will run automatically to guarantee life and property safety.
Well site XBC series of diesel fire pump set is composed of normal-pressure water tank, diesel fire pump and pressure proportional mixer, now it has been widely used in fire fight systems in petroleum, chemical,  harbors, oil depots and airports. The normal-pressure water tank can store water for fire fight; when fire accident happens, the automatic fire fight control cabinet will receive the signal and start the diesel fire pump, through the pressure proportional mixer, produce foam to extinguish fire.

In abnormal conditions, diesel engine will not reach the rated power, to guarantee normal work, you shall select the diesel engine with a greater power for the pump.

1. It is composed of famous diesel engine and high-efficiency centrifugal pump: good performance in starting and overload, in a compact structure, easy to use, highly automatic, as an advanced and reliable fire fight equipment.
2. Perfect three start functions:
1. Manual start function: interlock between manual start and automatic start by switch;
2. Automatic start function: three times allowed, if fails for three times, it will start "Start fail warning" and exit automatically; once started, the time for it reaches the rated values is 5-10-15S (determined by capacity);
3. Emergency manual direct start function: in case of emergency, directly manual start.
3. Automatic run: when it receives low pressure signal, it will automatically start, to compensate for piping network pressure, when pressure recovers, it will automatically stop.
4. Automatic stop: when the fire signal or piping network pressure signal is off, it will delay to stop automatically.
5. Storage battery self-charging voltage stabilization: the storage battery can be charged by electric power supply for smooth start.
6. Complete indication system: prepare to start, manual start, automatic start, run, stop, storage battery charging, overspeed, lubricant oil shortage (loss), low cooling water temperature preheat, timed monitor.
7. Complete warning or safeguard system: fails for three times, warning or safeguard, overspeed, warning or safeguard, low lubricant oil pressure, warning or safeguard, low booster oil pressure, warning or safeguard, high cooling water temperature, warning or safeguard, low lubricant oil temperature, warning or safeguard, automatic charger fails, warning, low storage battery voltage, warning, high storage battery voltage, warning, low engine oil lever, warning or safeguard.
8. Complete display system: diesel engine lubricant oil pressure, diesel engine rotation speed, storage battery charging current, storage battery charging voltage.
9. Direct coupling: the diesel engine is coupled with pump directly, channel steel seat, compact, little faults, easy to install.
10.  Wide pressure, flow range: IS series of 1-stage & 1-priming, SOW series of new 1-stage & 2-priming, TSWA series of split multistage pump, for the requirements on fire fight in various conditions.
11. Flow, pressure adjustable: diesel fire pump has a mechanical speed regulator or an electronic speed regulator, when its flow, head are abnormal, you can change its rotation speed to adjust.

1. The core, pressure proportional mixer is anti-corrosion, with a long service life.
2. The ball valves, stop valves and safety valves are superior products in China, to ensure reliable running.
3. The tank is made of hot-rolled sheet steel, welded by electric-arc welding, in maximum
against 1.6Mpa pressure.
4. The diaphragm in the tank is high-strength compound rubber diaphragm, to separate water and foam completely, and the remaining foam still are available later to reduce foam wasted.
5. In standard configuration, ball valves will be installed on inlet pipe and outlet pipe, if users have special requirements, pneumatic  or electric ball valves can be installed on the inlet pipe, foam pipe and outlet pipe, and a control cabinet also can be supplied to control the valves.
6. Over-voltage safeguard: when the actual pressure exceeds the limit pressure for the safety valve, the safety valve will drain off.

The tank is made of hot-rolled sheet steel, welded by electric-arc welding; a hole, an exhaust  valve and a lamp are on the top; a ladder and a liquid level meter are on the by-side.

Fundamental
The pressure proportional mixer shall be in a ready status (inlet pressure ball valve and outlet pipe ball valve are open, other valves are closed). The diesel fire pump inlet & outlet valves shall be normally open, when fire accident happens, it will start diesel fire pump (by remote start control cable, the fire fight control cabinet will directly control diesel fire pump start/stop, diesel fire pump starts, and the signal will go to the fire fight control center, if you need more functions, please see the control cabinet wiring diagram).
Connect to the outlet pipe, open copper outlet valve, transfer the mixed liquids to the foam producer to extinguish fire. The normal-pressure water tank has liquid level control, when the liquid level is too low, the level sensor will send a signal to the control cabinet, to make the diesel engine stop (in manual/automatic status, you cannot start the diesel fire pump, when level is above the level sensor, you can restart the diesel fire pump), in order to avoid seal damages when it runs without water inside. There is a lighting unit on the top of the tank, you can turn on on the control cabinet panel at night.
