Fire in Joliet 7-17-12

A fire broke out on the far west side of Joliet at 6901 Grantham Drive. A detached garage was fully involved and the flames spread to the main house, causing significant damage. Fire crews used three hand lines to bring the fire under control. Joliet Engine 10 was the first unit on scene, followed by Engine 9, Engine 8, Truck 9, Ambulance 9, Ambulance 10, and Battalion Chief 2.
