It's been a few months since we first shared the news about Autodesk’s investment in iOFFICE + SpaceIQ, but the impact of that move is still growing. In fact, the companies have since merged with Condeco to create Eptura—a powerful new player in the worktech space. This evolution is shaping the future of how organizations manage their physical environments and digital workflows.

Today, we’re revisiting the original announcement to highlight why this partnership matters, especially for those working at the intersection of building design, operations, and facility management. Autodesk’s investment isn’t just a financial boost—it’s a strategic move toward integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) with real-world facility data to create smarter, more efficient buildings.

This partnership brings together two powerful platforms—Autodesk’s BIM tools and iOFFICE + SpaceIQ’s workplace and asset management solutions. The result? A seamless flow of data from the design phase all the way through operations and maintenance, making it easier for teams to make informed decisions, reduce costs, and improve sustainability.

Here's what the original news release said:

iOFFICE + SpaceIQ Announces Strategic Investment by Autodesk

HOUSTON, TX and ATLANTA, GA – Sept. 21, 2021 – iOFFICE + SpaceIQ, a leader in the digital transformation of workplace and asset management, today announced a strategic investment by Autodesk, a global technology leader spanning architecture, engineering, construction, product design, manufacturing, and media and entertainment. The investment, which follows the recent combination of iOFFICE + SpaceIQ, will provide integrated solutions that give businesses unequaled ability to analyze and optimize all aspects of their real estate and mission-critical assets. Terms of the investment were not disclosed.

The pandemic has pushed many organizations to rethink how they use their physical spaces. With occupancy patterns changing rapidly, the need for real-time data and flexible systems has never been higher. That’s where BIM comes in. By combining design data with operational insights, Autodesk is helping companies build smarter and manage better.

See how Autodesk integrates with iOFFICE + SpaceIQ products – Archibus and SiQ – to easily flow critical asset and space data from design through operations to increase performance, extend asset life, improve employee experience.

"Combining design, operational, and performance data in a single platform to improve the comfort, safety, and efficiency of building assets has never been more important," said Nick Stefanidakis, General Manager, Archibus, an iOFFICE + SpaceIQ product. "The strategic investment from Autodesk allows us to deliver the solutions organizations need to meet this demand."

iOFFICE + SpaceIQ represents the industry’s most comprehensive solutions portfolio for integrated workplace and enterprise asset management platforms. More than 10,000 customers worldwide leverage these tools to manage over 2 billion square feet of space valued at more than $64B. The company’s platforms, including widely deployed IWMS Archibus, help 170,000-plus maintenance technicians respond to 1.3M work orders a month.

As part of its ongoing digital transformation strategy, Autodesk continues to expand its ecosystem. The integration between Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD with Archibus is already delivering value to users, and more integrations are on the way—including with the Autodesk Construction Cloud and Forge platform.

“Daiwa House has developed a strategy for creating and managing building data so that building owners can make more data-driven decisions while reducing the guesswork of operations and maintenance,” said Takaaki Miyauchi, Senior Manager, Construction Digital Promotion Department at Daiwa House. “Archibus and Autodesk’s BIM-related products have been at the center of our strategy to bring the project model and asset operations together.”

With the merger into Eptura, the future looks even brighter for those looking to combine BIM with facility management. This partnership is not just about technology—it’s about transforming how we think about the built environment and the people who use it.

Tower Crane

Tower cranes are essential for high-rise construction, providing exceptional height and lifting capacity. They are designed for stability and precision, with features that allow for efficient vertical and horizontal movement. Key components include Skid Steer Loader parts and Backhoe Loader parts, which help ensure smooth operation and durability. For various construction tasks, integrating equipment like compact wheel loaders and mini excavators can complement the crane's functionality. Additionally, maintenance with parts such as ROAD ROLLER compactor and electric Tractor parts is crucial for maintaining peak performance.
