After 20 seconds, the number of ticks is quickly continued, and then weighed, averaged, and the specific volume is calculated. The opening degree (no unit) can be obtained by the specific gravity according to the formula (2-4-1).

4. Instrument measurement method A sample of a certain weight is placed in the airflow meter for comparison, and the pressure value is compared, the pressure value is high, and the opening degree is good.
(2) The evaluation of the impurity removal effect is as follows:
1. The rate of falling cotton reflects the amount of cotton falling from the loosening and removing machinery. It is calculated by the test and calculated according to the formula (2-4-2):

2. The impurity content of the cotton is reflected by the amount of impurities in the cotton. The impurities in the cotton are separated and weighed by the instrument, and calculated according to the formula (2-4-3):

3. The falling rate is also referred to as the amount of impurities removed from the raw cotton raw material, calculated according to formula (2-4-4):

4. The efficiency of impurity removal reflects the effectiveness of removing impurities, which is related to the impurity content of raw materials and is calculated according to formula (2-4-5):

Removal efficiency = impurity rate of raw cotton × 100% (2-4-5)
5. The fiber content of the cotton is reflected by the amount of good fibers in the cotton. The fibers in the cotton are separated by instrument and weighed according to the formula (2-4-6):
