The ore dressing method of tin ore is determined by its own characteristics. Since the density of cassiterite is larger than that of symbiotic minerals, the traditional beneficiation process of tin ore is gravity beneficiation. As time goes by, the size of the cassiterite in the ore selected is becoming thinner, resulting in a cassiterite flotation process. Further, since tin minerals often present various iron oxide minerals, such as magnetite, hematite and limonite, these minerals are not well separated cassiterite flotation and reselection, so in recent years Magnetic separation operations have occurred in the tin ore dressing process.

At present, most of Yunxi Company has used the floating-heavy beneficiation process of the Daxie Plant's sulphide ore workshop for more than 30 years (Fig. 1 below). The process is: the original ore is crushed to 20mm, and a closed-circuit grinding to 0.074mm (200 mesh) accounts for 60%. ~65%, mixed flotation, one coarse and two sweeping one fine; copper sulfur separation grinding to 0.074mm accounted for 95% one coarse two sweeping three fines, copper concentrate, sulfur concentrate; mixed flotation tailings and then selected sulfide Re-election. Changpo Concentrator is one of the selected factories of Dachang Mining Bureau, and its ore dressing process is shown in Figure 2. First, the raw ore is crushed to -20mm and then sieved into two grades of 20~4 and 4~0mm, and 20~4mm is preselected into the heavy medium cyclone. The heavy medium cyclone heavy product is pre-selected by jigging after a rod mill. The jigging tailings is screened with 2mm vibrating screen to remove +2mm as waste tailings, and -2mm into the shaker. The jigging and shaker concentrates and medium mines are divided into two systems based on grades, which are regrind and mixed flotation. Flotation tailings shaking sorting Conformanceand tin concentrate; mixed and then finely ground flotation concentrate for flotation separation of lead zinc, antimony and lead, respectively, outputs concentrate and zinc concentrate. The re-selected slime enters the Φ300mm cyclone, and the overflow is removed by the Φ125 and Φ75mm hydrocyclones. The sedimentation is concentrated and floated for desulfurization.

In recent years, manufacturers identified 100 special high-grade ore body, which is rare in the world of cassiterite multi-metal sulfide ore large special bonanza. The ore has high grades of tin, lead, antimony and zinc, and contains sulfur, arsenic , cadmium , indium , silver and gold for the recovery of associated elements and rare metal elements. The ore has many kinds of minerals, complex components and difficult mineral processing. After the key scientific and technological research in the "Eighth Five-Year Plan", the two-class principle process of magnetic-floating-heavy and magnetic-heavy-floating-heavy was used to expand the experiment, and a good sorting index was obtained. The magnetic-floating-heavy process was first applied in the peak mine Bally concentrator. The sulphide ore flotation was carried out by two-stage mixing and separation process. The recovery rates of tin, lead, antimony and zinc were 83.72%, 82.16%, 73.89% and 80.50%. The post-changpo beneficiation plant was transformed into No. 100 ore. The design process was a magnetic-floating-heavy process. The sulphide ore flotation was treated with a preferential mixing and separation process. The recovery rates of tin, lead, antimony and zinc were 78.11% and 85.59%, respectively. , 82.63% and 81.65%.

The Xinlu tin mine is the main tin mine affiliated to the Guangxi Pinggui Mining Bureau. Its sand-sand mines are divided into two types: silt deposits and alluvial sand deposits. The former has a high grade and large reserves, and is distributed in a block, sac, and bead shape; the latter has a low grade, a wide distribution, and a relatively complex ore body.

The Baimianshan Plant is one of the plants for the treatment of the ore tin mine. Since the embedding characteristics of the cassiterite in the grain size of more than 5 mm and less than 5 mm have a certain difference, it is roughly subdivided by 5 mm. The +5mm coarse sand was subjected to two jigging after the rod grinding. The tailings of the first jigging were selected by a shaker to obtain a coarse concentrate of 8% to 9% of the tin grade into the second stage grinding. -5mm fine sand, graded by Φ600mm cyclone, its grit is selected by two jiggings, and the overflow is then graded by Φ400mm cyclone and sorted by shaker.
