This message comes to us from Jeff Braun, Jr.: --- Hey everyone, I just wanted to share some photos I took last night during the box alarm response for the house fire in Berwyn. This happened around 9 p.m. on December 26th, 2017, at 3524 South Gunderson Avenue. When I arrived, there was significant fire showing on both the Alpha and Delta sides of the structure. It was quite intense. The first photo shows firefighters actively battling the flames as they engulfed the house under the cover of darkness. The second image captures an Oak Park Fire Department tower ladder working hard to control the situation. In another shot, you can see a Seagrave aerial ladder truck at the scene, which played a crucial role in managing the fire. There's also a picture of several fire chiefs coordinating efforts at the incident, and one more of the same Seagrave truck from a slightly different angle. These images really highlight the dedication and skill of our local firefighters. Thanks to everyone who helped keep the situation under control. Best regards, Jeff Braun, Jr. County-Wide Fire Photography --- *Attached Photos:* 1. Firefighters battling flames that consumed the house at night. 2. An Oak Park FD tower ladder in action. 3.
