This report comes from Eric Haak:

On Wednesday afternoon around 4:40 PM, a fire broke out in a large "S"-shaped courtyard apartment building located at the corner of Lunt and Bell. Firefighters arrived quickly and contained the blaze shortly after. The incident eventually escalated to a 2-11 alarm. Engine 102 was the first unit on scene and reported fire on the second floor. They are pictured below preparing to deploy the tower ladder. Truck 25 had their aerial set up in Sector One, while Tower Ladder 21 was positioned at the intersection of Lunt and Bell. The back porches were involved but weren't visible due to the building's unique shape. When I arrived at 5:15 PM, most of the fire had moved to the top floor and the roof, which was hard to see because of the tall trees lining the street. Rehab Unit 572 was stationed on Bell Street and is shown below.

Editor’s note: How many fire scenes will have an HME engine and an HME tower ladder together? It's pretty rare to see both units deployed side by side, especially in such a tight urban setting. This one definitely stood out.
