Autodesk has officially completed its acquisition of PIX, a leading production management solution. This strategic move strengthens Autodesk’s footprint in the on-set phase of media and entertainment (M&E) production, enabling smoother data sharing across the entire production pipeline and minimizing inefficiencies.
The integration of PIX’s proven expertise and extensive industry network with Autodesk’s advanced cloud technology and resources is set to enhance customer experiences. By bridging the gap between on-set operations and post-production, this partnership will foster better collaboration and streamline workflows, ensuring that critical information flows seamlessly from the set to the editing room.
Efficiency has long been a challenge in the M&E industry, where assets are often recreated, data is stored in incompatible formats, and vital information gets lost in complex file structures. These issues lead to unnecessary rework, costing time and money for our customers.
To address these challenges, Autodesk is developing Flow, an industry-specific cloud platform designed to unify data, workflows, and teams across the production pipeline. Our goal is to enable more efficient collaboration, but achieving this requires overcoming significant technical and operational hurdles.
Two years ago, we began expanding beyond post-production by entering the on-set space, aiming to integrate processes and improve connectivity throughout the entire production chain. This was a bold step for Autodesk and a key part of our vision to bring the entire production process into the cloud.
Since then, we've made progress with Moxion, exploring ways to create seamless connections between on-set and post-production workflows. Today, with the PIX acquisition finalized, we're accelerating our on-set presence and bringing studios along on this journey.
PIX’s production management solution now integrates with Flow, making it easier to share real-time data from the set with studio executives and production teams. This fosters broader collaboration and connects previously disconnected workflows, improving overall efficiency.

By combining the strengths of the PIX team with Autodesk’s cloud capabilities and connecting everything through Flow, we can deliver a better experience for our customers and transform how films and TV shows are created.
I’m excited to welcome the talented PIX team to Autodesk. Together, we will continue to innovate, drive growth, and empower our customers to bring their creative visions to life.
*The foregoing descriptions of the contemplated effects of the acquisition are subject to Autodesk’s ability to successfully integrate PIX in all respects. For further information about the risks relevant to our forward-looking statements, see our press release.*
PVF Film
PVF film, also known as polyvinyl fluoride film (PVF), is a thermoplastic high strength resin. Odorless, non-toxic white powder. The density of 1.38. Decomposition above 240℃. It has crystal structure, high transparency (can pass through ultraviolet), high electrical insulation performance, high tenacity, excellent chemical resistance, aging resistance and corrosion resistance. And can withstand -73~+121℃. Formed by extrusion of a copolymer of fluorine and fluorocarbon molecules. It is a copolymer containing fluorine or fluorocarbon, having greater chemical binding strength and structural stability than any polymer. The resistance and durability of PVF films to sunlight, chemical solvents, acid and alkali corrosion, moisture and oxidation are significantly improved. The film can be used as agricultural film, protective film of materials, packaging grease and corrosive substances, and also can be used as electrical insulation material.
During production and processing, the PVF film is extended laterally and longitudinally to form a molecular lattice, which greatly improves its physical properties. The PVF film can be doubled in wear resistance, moisture penetration resistance and elongation.
PVF film does not contain plastic agents, durable color stability, resistance to bleach, prevent powder and fungal growth. Its surface repulsive force, can prevent dust stain, easy to clean and maintain. Moreover, even the strongest detergents will not damage the PVF film.
PVF film can guarantee excellent performance from -70 ° C to 110 ° C, and the instantaneous temperature peak up to 200 ° C will not damage it. In addition, PVF film contains no plasticizer, so it has excellent aging resistance and maintains toughness and bending over a wide temperature range. Outdoor weathering tests of PVF films have been carried out by relevant testing institutions for more than 20 years.
The main purpose
1.PVF film and sheet metal composite: such as industrial plant exterior wall, roof or commercial building exterior wall protection panel, or used for highway sound insulation guardrail.
2.PVF film and PVC film composite: used for the space membrane structure of sports venues
3 PVF film is a good weatherproof material, with PVF film wrapped seal glass fiber or rock wool can greatly extend the service life of sound insulation bag.
4.PVF film has a good anti-UV performance, can be widely used in outdoor advertising, propaganda painting protective film.
