The first project involved the drying of corn pulp protein using a tube dryer. The project was executed exceptionally well, with steam consumption per kilogram of dewatered water reaching only 1.2 kg. This is significantly better than the typical performance of similar tube dryers, which usually consume around 2,000 kg of steam per hour. In Tieling City, a large drying plant used German technology to optimize the entry and exit of steam. The design of the shovel and jet technology was improved, allowing the dryer to achieve nearly 3,000 kg/hour. The material being dried is corn pulp protein, and the moisture removal rate is approximately 50%.
The second project involved a rotary flash dryer for diatomite drying. This was a large-scale drying plant where only the main unit was provided by the manufacturer. The customer then configured the gas furnace, cyclone, and bag filter according to their system requirements. Due to the high sand content in diatomite, the dryer was specially modified to suit the material's characteristics. From a practical standpoint, this new system performs better than the previous rotary dryer, which the customer referred to as a "roller." It requires less daily maintenance and reduces energy consumption by nearly 30 kW.
The third project focused on the drying of T501 material, which is known for its challenging properties and temperature restrictions. Traditionally, fluidized bed dryers are used, but they tend to have a large footprint and high energy consumption. To address these issues, Yuanda Drying Equipment Factory introduced a vibration multi-layer fluidized dryer. This model occupies only 20 square meters of space, consumes just 15 kW of power, and can process up to 300 kg per hour. It offers an efficient and compact solution for this difficult-to-dry material.
